NVC in School Programs

Under this year Civil Peace Service Program, Pro Publics team conducted NVC consciousness training to the students, teachers and parents of three different schools i.e, Ananta English School (AES) from Lalitpur, Kuleshwor Aawas Secondary School (KASES) from Kathmandu, Vijaya Saamudaayik Shikshya Sadan (VSSS) from Nawalpur in a year 2022. In each school, there were 4 days of training, one for students, one for teachers, one for the parents and one collaborative session for all. The training was organized as the follow-up of last year's training to the students and teachers. Also, training is supposed to connect the understanding about NVC to all the parties involved in education school, child and guardian. It is also expected the training will also increase the emotional intelligence of the participants as well as strengthen the leadership among students. Nearly 142 students, 90 teachers and 49 guardians were benefitted directly by the program. The training were facilitated by Ms. Deepika Rana, Mr. Mani Ram Kandel, Ms. Rajya Laxmi Gurung, Ms. Shobha Regmi and Mr. Sri Ram Timilsina.
