34th Annual General Meeting

Kathmandu, October 11, 2025 - Pro Public held its 34th Annual General Meeting at Silauto Cottage in Kathmandu, with an active and meaningful participation from a large delegation to review the year’s progress and discuss the plan.

A total of 38, 2 Founder members, 5 Executive Members, 6 Lifetime Members, 22 General Members, Lawyer. And 12 Staff members contributed their valuable time to the proceedings.

General Secretary, Gopal Sunar, inaugurated the program, delivering the reviewed organization history, and led a quick introduction session. The program continued with the project team leaders, who provided a comprehensive presentation on their respective projects. Following, Treasure, Urmila Joshi, presented the organization’s Annual Budget Report. The formal presentations were succeeded by an open floor discussion among the attendees. Dr. Nirmala KC, the Chairperson, then delivered her closing remarks, highlighting the organization’s objectives, vision, and achievements.

The AGM proceeded to felicitate five former Presidents of Pro Public, Prof. Dr. Shreekrishna Shrestha, Dr. Lekhnath Belbase, Sr. Advocate Mr. Narayan Belbase, Prof. Dr. Pramod Kumar Jha, and Sr. Advocate Mr. Prakash Mani Sharma, who were felicitated for their outstanding leadership, dedication, and invaluable contributions in establishing and strengthening the organization.
