Dialogue Facilitation and Mediation for Strengthening Peace and Social Harmony
The project titled “Dialogue Facilitation and Mediation for Strengthening Peace and Social Harmony” aims to bridge dividers and create connectors by bringing down social barriers to interaction through a process of dialogue and mediation between different caste, ethnic groups, faith groups, Terai (Madhesi) and Hills (Pahadee)communities of Nepal. The project is based on the idea that fostering a collaboration with relevant stakeholders through combining the means of dialogue and mediation will be effective in creating a safe environment for trust building, mutual understanding, resolving conflicts, and avoiding violent communications.
This project is going to be implemented in four communities, Lahan municipality of Siraha, Shivaraj Municipality of Kapilvastu, Nepalgunj Metro-polition city of Banke and Tikapur municipality of Kailali with the financial suppor of Robert Bosch Stiftung – Germany from August 16, 2018 to October 31, 2019.
