The Ministry of Population and Environment has set up the industrial effluent standard for these groups of industry. From our monitoring programs, it can be concluded that, no industries monitored so far are complying with the first generation industrial effluent standards and become a major source of river, soil, and land pollution in the present standard. 2001 to 2003.
